Lonava, also known as the Glass Peninsula, is an isolated region bursting with mysticism. Photos of a mysterious tower floating above the misty Lonava Levels has brought widespread media attention to the small yet bustling area. As the lines between physical, spiritual, and the celestial blur in this ancient land, it's your task to make sense of the circumstances and help maintain the balance of the world. The central hub of Lonava and the starting place of your journey is Tonbury Town, a low-lying settlement occupied by a thriving New Age community. This colourful town is famous for its crystal shops, artisans, and unusual smokey aroma.

Lonava is inspired by the town of Glastonbury in England, the purported site of Avalon from Arthurian Legend. It also draws from wider folklore from around the UK, and exists in a separate world to official Pokémon canon. Though some creatures might seem familiar, they are related only in reference.
