Cyare is the easternmost region in the southern lands. It is bordered by Aviar to the northwest, and Kymoto to the southwest. Cyare is comprised of four sub-regions: North and South Cyare on the mainland, the Opal Islands to the north, and the Glacial Territories to the south. North Cyare is most commonly referred to as 'Cyare', due to the fact that this area was originally the entire region before the discovery and settlement of South Cyare. 'North Cyare' is only used to distinguish this sub-region amongst the other three as a part of the entire region. Cyare is the second most populated region in the southern lands, after Talia.
